TRADISA is a strategic distribution collaborator, providing added value services to the dealership thanks to the development of the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) solution.
The PDI allows the dealership to receive the vehicle ready to be delivered to the end client, avoiding the complicated tune-up activities and verification of the same that are not carried out by the logistics operator in their own installations.
The new European regulation in force since 1st May 2004, which opens the door to multi brand dealerships, makes the process of verifying the vehicles in the dealership more difficult, as each brand has a specific verification protocol, of which extensive knowledge is needed to be able to correctly carry out the tune-up of the vehicle. This solution is directed at the dealerships that do not have enough critical mass to have specialised personnel or invest in residual water purification, necessary to eliminate the protective waxes used to transport the vehicles.
To carry out the PDI, TRADISA has a very specialised technical team, who have an in depth knowledge of each and very one of the models and brands. The PDI technicians carry out the following:
- Verify the main points (oil levels, break liquid, battery charging, tire pressure...) an if necessary, correct them.
- Remove the protective transportation covers put on by the manufacturer and the interior protection.
- Eliminate the residue produced during transportation.
- Check the state of the exterior and if necessary carry out repairs to the paint work.
- Check the interior cleanliness.
- Install the elements that are sent separately, such as the hub caps
- Carry out a test drive.
The Standard TRADISA PDI has an average of 28 vehicle check points.
