Antonio Guiral Guarga, founder of the company, constitutes Transportes y Distribución, S.A. (TRADISA) to provide a service to the first industrial manufacturers in the automotive sector.
TRADISA signs an agreement with Vespa to distribute their motorbikes in the Iberian peninsular.

1955

SEAT trusts TRADISA with the distribution of their products in Spain

1957

Opening of the regional offices in San Sebastián and Zaragoza.

1960

Opening of the regional office in Vigo.

1961

TRADISA initiates the international transport of merchandise with the opening of a regional office in Irún.

1963

Constitution of the company COMAUTO, assigned to the purchase and sale of industrial vehicles.

1968

Tradisa Italy and Tradifrance are born.

1969

TRADISA initiates intermodal traffic between the FIAT and SEAT plants.

1970

Start of the cross-dock and in-bound methods of transport for SEAT and FIAT.

1973

TRADISA enters in the petroleum product market, with the distribution of CAMPSA products.

1974

Inauguration of a Logistic Distribution Centre in Prat de Llobregat, where the new social headquarters is located.

1975

Opening of the regional office in Valencia, to provide service to the recently arrived American brand Ford.
Constitution of the companies Transportes Guiral, S.A. and TZ. S.A.

1978

Constitution of the company TR, S.A. dedicated to the rental of articulated vehicle carriers.

1979

TRADISA forms an alliance with Mosolf to create the Tramosa group, specialised in the transport of vehicles.

1982

The acquisition of the company Cartrans, S.A. to carry out handling services.

1984

The start of transport assistance operations in Spain.

1985

The opening of the new regional office in Pedrola to offer services to General Motors.

1986

Constitution of the company SPAIN CAR, S.A. Integral Logistics Services.

1990

TRADISA receives its first C.Q.R.S. certification from Ford, prize for quality transport, with the grade of Excellent.

1991

TRADISA obtains the ISO 9002:87 certification

1992

TRADISA provides its services to the Olympic Games held in Barcelona.

1994

TRADISA participates with SEMAT to create the company TSLI to distribute in Spain and exclusively the products of the German manufacturers Volkswagen, Skoda and Audi.
The ISO 9002-1994 certification is obtained.

1997

TRADISA reaches a total of one million vehicles transported.

1999

The second generation of TRADISA starts to carry out changes in its management: Cristina Guiral del Pozo takes the role of Chief Executive.

2000

The new centre for logistic operations in Abrera opens its doors to offer added value services. 20.000 m2 of surface space is inaugurated in the first phase.

2001

After almost half a century dedicated to the company, the founding partner of TRADISA, Antonio Guiral Guarda, dies.

2003

Creation of the Tradisa Business Group holding.
TRADISA initiate the implementation of an i2 management operative system, making it a technological leader in Europe within the logistics sector.

2004

Celebration of the 50th anniversary since the founding of TRADISA.

2005

TRADISA continues its expansion into Eastern Europe with the 100% purchase of the German Company Stigler Transport GmbH.
